Sunshine River
Symphony Orchestra
Inspired by a small orange highlighter doodle I made on my desk, this short, charismatic piece for a wind ensemble is filled with sunshine inspired color tones. The running eighth note motifs that are found throughout the piece represent flowing energy, and the overall key of Sunshine River, D major, evokes a sense of nature. Although Sunshine River is only 2 minutes long, it covers a wide range of styles in this short amount of time.
