The Evening Star

The Evening Star, by Edgar Allan Poe, is a short text that captures the wonder of looking at the stars on a summer night. Written for and premiered by the West Vigo High School Treble Choir under the direction of Christiana Wittenmyer, this setting of the text gives the listener the image of a starry night and the fascination of thinking about what's really out there in space.
